The DuraPlast Company Limited has, this morning been gutted by a fire at its North Industrial Area premises in Accra.
The incident was reported in the early hours of Thursday, October 1, 2026, at around 7:46 am.
Personnel from the Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) are reportedly at the scene to douse out the inferno.
Officers from the Ghana Police Service are also present to protect lives and properties.
The cause of the outbreak is not yet known, as the Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) is yet to conduct a postmortem of the incident.
In the meantime, there is maximum security at the scene to avoid further destruction.
As at now, there is no report of fatality.
