President of Citizen Eye Ghana, and politician, Alex Kweku Tetteh, has rendered a heartfelt apology to ex-second lady and wife of the 2028 flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), H.E. Samira Bawumia, for aggressively lambasting the former in the heat of the 2024 presidential and parliamentary elections campaign.
This comes on the back of concerns raised by some well-meaning Ghanaians over certain derogatory comments made by the protagonist against womanhood.
Speaking to CITEG TV, Mr. Tetteh said upon sober reflection on his conduct and utterances after the flagbearer race prior to the January 31, 2026, election that saw Dr. Bawumia becoming leader of NPP, he has realized he punched too hard and harsh on the former second lady.
The "no-nonsense" politician says he has realized that he went too hard on the former second lady and hereby calls for peace and tranquility.
He further added that, to err is human, but to forgive is divine, and hereby calls on the former second lady to excuse how he acted.
"I am ready to make amends with H.E. Samira Bawumia anytime I get the opportunity", the vociferous politician affirmed.
